CANdoISO Module (P/N NET50006)
CANdoISO Module is a compact isolated USB to CAN module, designed for embedding into OEM equipment.
The module is electrically equivalent to the CANdoISO Interface, but in an SMT (Surface Mount Technology) style PCB format.
The module may be treated as an SMT style component & soldered directly onto a larger PCB, or wired as a standalone part using the plated though holes shown in the picture below.
The CANdoISO Module is designed for customisation, for mounting in a custom enclosure or inclusion in other equipment.
Custom applications maybe written for the module using the CANdo SDK as a starting point. A consultancy service is offered to assist in the integration of the module into custom applications.

Notes :
- The CANdoISO Module contains no internal CAN bus termination
- The CAN bus must be terminated at either end with a 120 Ohm resistor, although a single 120ohm resistor will suffice for short cable lengths (< 2m)
- For long CAN networks (>10m) & in noisy environments the use of screened, twisted pair wire is recommended
- The CAN bus ground is electrically isolated from the USB ground
- Windows CE drivers are available on request
